The only way to fix it is to reduce the angle the snow is applied to the object, or removed it as you mention. You have to do that via plugin. Nice work for Vanilla. However, since we all use ENB and texture replacement, these have yet to catch up with the new shader for Skyrim SE. In fact, if ENB developer doesn't care about it, maybe he doesn't see any gain in adapting to the new shader. More work with no gain!
