Web11. aug 2024 · Topcat is accurate but uses a fixed derate of 22k and 24k engines for the 700 and 800 respectively whereas PMDG uses 24k and 26k. Means that you need to use TO-1 all the time in PMDG and when Topcat shows TO-1 you should use TO-2. Even if PFPX is not able to save a flight plan in the new fms file format. But in combination with TOPCAT it is nice to create a flightplan with performance calculation. I also like the IFPS validation. Since I have PFPX all my flightplans pass the IFPS validation 😎. It's VERY hard to see how small difference in trim etc actually affect the lift-off.
